KS1 and 2 History - Unit 1 - How are our toys different from those in the past?
This loans box contains some old toys that have been played with in and around Petersfield by children in the past. This box includes some original ITS Minibrix manufactured in Petersfield and some modern Lego to compare it too.
Ideas for using the box:
- Look at the Toys and decide which the old is and which the new toy is.
- Describe the Toys. What are they made from? What colour are they?
- Match some descriptive words to the Toys, eg Hard and Soft
