This loans box contains real and replica Victorian objects and photographs from Petersfield. It also contains information on what Petersfield was like during the Victorian period, and what children might have experienced at school, if they went!
Ideas for using the box:
- Look at the objects and try and work out what they all are.
- Compare the objects to the modern equivalents, how have they changed?
- Look at the children in the photographs, what are they wearing? Would you like to dress like that?
- Read out the description of Petersfield during the Victorian period, do you think you would like to live there? Would it be different from living in Petersfield now?
