How to help
There is a number of ways to include us in your Will, depending on your circumstances and wishes.

A Residuary gift.
This allows you to leave Petersfield Museum a share of your estate, once your family has been taken care of.

A Pecuniary Gift.
This allows you to leave a specific amount of money to Petersfield Museum.

A specific gift
This enables you to leave a gift of particular assets or goods to Petersfield Museum.

A Reversionary gift
This allows you to leave your estate to your dependants while they are living, but after they pass away all or part, as you specify, will revert to Petersfield Museum.

Adding a pledge to an existing will
If you would like to add a pledge to your existing Will you need to add a codicil in favour of Petersfield Museum Ltd. We can provide a suitable codicil form.

A Will is the only way to ensure that your treasured possessions are distributed in accordance with your wishes while protecting your family and friends. If you don’t already have a Will, although it is possible to write a Will by yourself, it is advisable to use a solicitor as there are various legal formalities you need to follow to make sure that your Will is valid. You may also need legal advice for more complicated matters. A solicitor can also advise you how Inheritance Tax may affect you.
