Exhibitions
Continuing with our current exhibition, Michael Craig-Martin: Everyday Objects, an eye-opening look at the transformation of items surrounding our day to day lives through vibrant colour and line work. The prints include depictions of headphones, lightbulbs and trainers and invite the viewer to consider the transitory items that fill the world around us.
Enjoy a conversation-led tour for a deeper look at our current exhibition with our Head of Collections and Exhibitions, Louise Weller. Try your hand at our art and creative workshops to experience what it was like when Winifred Joseph was taking her photographs.
Live Music & Theatre
Experience our historic music venue with acoustic and folk concerts from local and internationally touring bands. Join us as we relax into the evenings with performances by Claude Bourbon, A.D. Scruffs and many more
Mark your calendar for our theatre productions, including The Women of Lockerbie - inspired by true events and written in the style of Greek Tragedy, this is a fictionalised account of how the women of a small Scottish town take charge of their own grieving, and An Evening of (very) Old Radio, where you can enjoy tales, clips and re-enactments of the earliest landmark broadcasts
Events for the Whole Family
Retro Games Day and Minibrix Club will be continuing on from our Summer programme but we will also be hosting our seasonal under 5's favourite, Toddler Takeover, for both Halloween and Christmas!
Created with Under 5’s in mind, book in for our weekly free Mischief Makers for open play in our Museum and Art Gallery spaces.
