We are able to accommodate higher education groups from colleges and universities. Small groups of students can access our catalogue, stores and specific items from the collection can be brought to the research area for more detailed study.
We are happy to support students with work placements, or while undertaking individual research projects. We can offer hands on experience of working in a small independent heritage environment, and can tailor the specifics of the placement to the student’s individual requirements.
The museum buildings can accommodate around 30 adults. There is a storage facility for bags and coats.
For special interest groups items from the collection, in addition to those on display, can be viewed as part of a pre-arranged group visit. Loans boxes and workshops designed for schools can also be booked with a more adult focus.
We also run an extensive programme of adult education talks and town walks throughout the year on a variety of topics. For more information please click here.
We believe we have something to offer everyone so please browse our website and if you have any questions, please contact our Learning and Community Engagement Officer on 01730 262601 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
