Pathways into the Past

At the very heart of Petersfield Museum’s £3.75m expansion and refurbishment project, ‘Pathways into the Past’ will be a showpiece artwork that really puts the Museum on the map.

We were very excited to be able to be part of Petersfield Community Radio's special VE Day show marking the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe. We looked back at how the residents of Petersfield celebrated the very first VE Day on the 8th May 1945.

We are excited to introduce you to our new 60 Second Histories! Our way to share more about the objects and stories from our collection while in these extraordinary times!

Our first 60 Second History explores the history of our iconic Penny Farthing!
