Established in 1972 by the Council of British Archaeology, Butser Ancient Farm was set up to allow archaeologists to experiment and test their theories on how people lived in Iron Age Britain. This talk will take you on the journey of Butser Ancient Farm from its foundation and growth under the leadership of renowned archaeologist Peter Reynolds to the present day where it continues its legacy as a research centre as well as an education hub and much more.
