Join author and professional storyteller, Dawn Nelson, for a journey through the history of the story collectors in the unique setting of our Victorian courtroom.

From Straparola to the Grimm Brothers, this talk and storytelling evening for adults takes a look at the people recording the tales from the oral storytelling tradition. As with her popular podcast 'Stories From Lore', Dawn will talk about the history of these stories as well as telling some of the darker tales from the collections.

'The Juniper Tree', 'Mr Fox' and 'Prince Lindworm' will all make an appearance as you settle in for an evening of Dark Fairytales.
