Join us for this workshop led by Clare Dales, an artist who works in print and photographic media, who will introduce you to the wonders of stereoscopes.
A stereoscope is a device, invented in the Victorian period, which allows viewers to see two-dimensional images in three-dimensions.
Inspired by the stereoscopic viewfinder on display in our galleries, this workshop will explore the physics of how stereoscopes work, allow you to make your own stereoscopic viewer and take your own photographs of local landmarks to view in amazing 3D.
Suitable for ages 12 and over. Children between the ages of 12 - 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
