Bring your little ones to Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery for our free, weekly Mischief Maker sessions, specially designed for children under 5 and their grown-ups!
When the Museum and Art Gallery is closed to the public, you and your little ones can enjoy exclusive access to play, explore and make new friends in our unique spaces. From permanent collection interactives in our galleries to exploring a trove of toys in our historic courthouse, to the courtyard during warmer months for outdoor play, there is so much to spark creativity and imagination.
Your children can enjoy playing together with plenty of toys while you connect with a welcoming community of local parents and carers in Petersfield. It's the perfect way to embrace play and build connections in a relaxed, friendly environment.
- Our Mischief Makers sessions are Free to attend, but booking is required.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- Maximum of 2 children per adult.
- Please book a free ticket for each attendee (including adults).
Mischief Makers Pass
This Pass is your official Museum key! It lets you and your favourite grown-ups come and play whenever you like, all year long.
Your Mischief Makers Pass means you get to bring a grown-up to visit the whole Museum for free, anytime, plus VIP access to exclusive events, including our Mischief Makers Pass Teddy Bears Picnic!
While you are busy exploring, your grown-up gets a chance to discover our stories and objects. It’s a happy, welcoming place for both of you!
Toddler Takeover
Our Toddler Takeovers are exciting, child-led days that open up the Museum and Art Gallery just for families with under 5s. Held on Tuesdays when we’re closed to the general public, these sessions invite you and your little ones to explore our spaces in a fun, friendly and welcoming way.
We encourage play, noise, creativity and movement—in an environment that often feels the opposite! These events are designed to help your young mischief maker feel at home in a museum setting, with activities carefully tailored to suit their age and energy.
