Join us for this audio visual and tactile led tour of Peggy Guggenheim: Petersfield to Palazzo

Created and tailored for our visitors with visual impairments or those who would benefit from an audi-described tour. Enjoy a selection of works of art and stories on display through detailed descriptions by our specially trained tour guides.

Learn about Peggy Guggenheim, the 'art addict' at the centre of our exhibition. Discover more about Guggenheim's life in Petersfield, an introduction to the art circles she found herself at the centre of, and her path to becoming a renowned art collector and patron of the 20th century.

Accessibility Information:
Our tours take place at Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery. A member of our team will meet you outside the front of the Museum and Art Gallery and guide you to the Welcome Desk to sign in.

Tours are held for a total of up to 12 individuals and will last approximatley 90 mins. There will be a focus on 6 key objects that tell the story of the exhibition and the opportunity to feel a number of tactile objects to support the detailed audio-description of some of the objects.

The Museum and Art Gallery is situated all on one level. A set of three steps can be found on route but step free access to the whole site is possible.

Assistance dogs are welcome, you may be asked to provide your dogs ID book.

After booking you will receive an email to ask for any additional access needs you may have.

Our tours take place outside of our regular opening hours to provide a quiter and calmer experience and allow us to focus on your journey.
